She is a proud mother of 4 amazing children who are very active in athletics. Adriene spends most of her free time cheering them on at their games.

Patrick Allen
Lead Technical Recruiter

Patrick specializes in manufacturing, fluid power and automation. He focuses on sales and engineering talent with backgrounds in a variety of applications and segments of the industry.

Patrick had several successful years in field sales that help him understand the characteristics and fundamentals of standout sales individuals. His ability to adapt and listen to clients’ needs has allowed him to deliver top engineering and service talent as well.

When Patrick is not working, he spends as much time as he can with his wife and two handsome boys. They are very active outdoors and love adventure. He has strong Chicago roots, enjoyed a 10-year stretch in Florida, and he and his family now reside in Denver, living the mountain life they always wanted.

Brenda Mitchell
Executive Recruiter

Brenda brings 20 plus years of search and recruitment expertise from a wide variety of positions. Her introduction to the recruiting industry started in information technology with much success. She has conducted national searches for companies from the C-Levels to mid-career professionals nationally in all verticals.

Her professional background started in human resources employee relations and later evolved to include recruitment and training.

She is passionate about connecting and transforming people’s lives. Serving as a trusted partner, she listens, consults and coaches with honesty and transparency to ensure the best match for both the company and candidate.

One of her greatest accomplishments was completing a marathon to raise money for stroke victims. She is an avid reader of self-improvement books. She and her husband both enjoy deck gardening, jazz, running, walking and preparing healthy meals and smoothies.

Greg Hill
Lead Technical Recruiter

Greg specializes in Business Development & Recruiting efforts. He focuses on delivering top sales talent to manufacturing and distribution companies in the segments of power transmission, high-speed equipment, turbomachinery and fluid power. Greg has been with Avenues since the beginning and has a total of 15 years of recruitment and talent acquisition experience.

Greg is originally from the Cincinnati, OH area. He is an alumnus of the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, a veteran of the Armed Forces and is currently pursuing an MBA. In his personal time, Greg enjoys golfing, bike-riding, camping, traveling and spending time with his family.

Chip Hayhurst
Associate Executive Recruiter

Chip Hayhurst is an Associate Executive Recruiter at Avenues focusing on the Industrial, Information Technology, Defense and other high technology industries.

Chip has 15 years+ experience in recruiting and executive search with clients ranging from established Fortune 500 industry category leaders to post-start up, venture-backed companies. He focuses on top-line oriented business leadership roles in the industrial, public sector and niche technology markets. These include Sales, Marketing, and Business Development and extend to Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain Management, HR and Corporate Administration.

Prior to joining Avenues, Chip was a Consultant to a large IT research and advisory services firm. Previously, he was an Executive Recruiter with a boutique retained search firm in the Washington DC area.

Chip holds a B.S. in Political Science from the University of Maryland. He enjoys his spare time with family and keeping up with three daughters.

Nikki Stephens
Director of Marketing

Nikki’s unique combination of strategic, analytical and creative skills helps her transform a company’s marketing department from a cost center to a revenue center. Her role is to highlight the vast expertise and skills of the Avenues recruiting team, study market and industry trends and optimize internal systems/workflows. With a BA in Journalism and partial completion of an MBA, her strengths lie in content development and data analysis—working the two together seamlessly to achieve business objectives.

Nikki recently returned to her hometown of Sarasota after several years progressing in her career in Orlando and Atlanta. In her free time she does yoga and blogs about her passion: motherhood.

Cassidy Blouin
Marketing Intern

Cassidy is an undergraduate student pursuing her passion of social media marketing. She has always enjoyed creating new posts for her social media accounts. While at school she has been given the opportunity to show her creative talents; she plans to combine her creative and organizational skills to increase Avenues’ social media outreach. This past Fall she spent a semester abroad in London, England.

Cassidy is working on her degree in Marketing/ Global Business and Economics in Newport, RI. When she is not in school, she is keeping busy with a part-time job and maintaining a spot on her school’s dance company.

Kevin Fontenot
Marketing Intern

Kevin is currently a student at the University of Texas pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration. He loves to learn about how information spreads through social media and what implications this may have for businesses and their recruiting strategies. When he is not studying diligently or working hard, he can be found practicing piano, learning new languages, and taking in all the sights there are to see in lovely Austin, Texas.

Kevin hopes to one day pursue a degree in law with an emphasis on corporate consultation. He eventually aspires to work as an analyst for the United Nations’ legal branch.

Whitney Robinson
Director of Research

Whitney specializes in identifying the “hard to find” talent for our clients. She utilizes her sourcing skills to identify and pre-qualify potential candidates for the many clients of Avenues.

Whitney is originally from New Jersey and moved to Sarasota during high school. She then went on to the University of Arkansas on a full athletic scholarship and graduated with a BA in International Relations. She earned her Masters of Education in 2008 from Argosy University in Sarasota. Her dedication and work ethic shows in her day to day at Avenues with the many candidates she works with and with her continued desire to grow both professionally and personally.

Brian Kinlaw
Senior Researcher

Brian is a native Floridian who graduated from the University of Central Florida. After spending 15 years in Orlando in the restaurant industry he decided to make a career change. Using the knowledge and experience from his years in customer service he opted to venture down the path of recruiting. By applying unique and inventive solutions, Brian uncovers the perfect candidate for every company and opening he works with, helping clients gain the competitive edge they all desire.

In his free time, Brian enjoys spending time with his friends and family, whether it’s a round of golf or an extreme game of kickball in the backyard.
